Choosing a photographer to capture those special moments is an important decision. I promise that I will take great care in capturing and editing those moments for you. I guarantee you 100% professionalism. If you have any questions, please just ask, as I promise to make sure you enjoy our time together and give you a great experience. Maybe we will even become great friends.
ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE
I edit all images individually, spending quality time to get everything perfect. Images are edited and ready for you 2 to 3 weeks after your session. You will receive a link to your private password-protected gallery of 100 plus images. All pictures are offered to you in both color and black and white. At that time you will select your favorites, The number of files received are listed below in each session category. I will then send them to you via DROPBOX along with a print release for printing images up to 8x10. Additional high-resolution images can be bought and downloaded directly from your gallery for $10 apiece.
Prints are sold separately. The final printed image is the most important part of our photoshoot. Taking these professionally shot and edited images to be printed at Target, Costco, Walgreens, or Walmart your images will look yellow, faded, and often cropped the wrong way. I cannot control box store calibrated printers. That's why purchasing your prints directly from your private gallery will offer you 100% quality satisfaction. I use a professional print house that is calibrated to my computer so you are getting the best quality possible. I offer a wide variety of products and if there is something you want that is not listed we can work together to get those made.
I also offer specialty cards and beautiful books. Many clients order books from their sessions because they love so many images. Minimum order $400
I will post a sneak peak image or two on Facebook if you approve. You will receive a few Facebook watermarked images for you to post, along with a Facebook Cover image if you request one. Laura Kane Scher Photography must be credited and a link to my Facebook page included in your post.
All sessions happen in my studio, your home or a location within 30 miles of my South Minneapolis studio. I have lots of location ideas listed below, please look it over so we can get the right location for you. Anything over 30 miles will include a $.50 a mile charge. I will also travel out of state for your sessions, with transportation, room and board covered by client.

FAMILY AND LIFESTYLE SESSIONS

I enjoy this session so much, getting to know new people, playing with the kids, getting to know them. I will do posed family shots, and posed children shots and the best part is to capture your family together, laughing and loving, the majority of the shoot is lifestyle. This session will take place at the location of your choice, a local park, urban area, my studio, or your home.
CHILDREN AND TEEN SESSIONS
$500/2 hour session/20 high resolution photos printable to 8x10.

One of my favorites. I got into Photography just for this reason. I love kids, I love to watch their personalities unfold in front of my camera. One of the things I pride myself on is my ability to relate to your children. It's part of the joy I find in allowing them to show me their true selves, something I know you want me to capture for you to treasure for a lifetime. I ask that for the most part parents step back and let me do my magic. Children tend to be stiff and even misbehave when parents are hands-on. This session will take place at the location of your choice, a local park, urban area, my studio, or your home.
NEWBORN SESSIONS
$600/3 hour session/20 high-resolution photos printable to 8x10.

Capturing precious newborns within the first 10 days is very special to me. I will take great care of your sweet bundle. I have many wraps, hats, blankets and diaper covers. I encourage you to bring items or clothing items that you feel are special in some way that you would like to capture in the image. My approach to Newborns is very much a lifestyle approach, not kitschy or over the top. I love to capture their tiny personalities.
HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
$500/2 hour session/3 outfit changes/3 locations within 10 minutes drive from one to another/20 high-resolution photos printable to 8x10

'Seniors are such a joy for me to photograph. They have so much personality, and charm, and who doesn't love a funny, sweet coming-of-age young person on the verge of making their own way in the world. I know senior year is a tough, exhausting, and exhilarating time in one's life so I strive to make this photo session relaxing, comfortable, and really fun. My goal is to make sure each senior feels beautiful, relevant, and extraordinary. I want to make sure they are able to show the world they are truly one-of-a-kind!
Seniors can bring a few changes of clothes or props such as instrument or sporting goods, or etc. if they want. Some seniors have chosen to bring a friend or a parent to the session to help them relax more. These are just ideas. A photo session lasts for 2 hours. During the session time, we will explore your senior’s chosen location or they can choose to shoot in my studio. If your senior is interested, let’s talk!
